THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg accumulated 14 medals and finished the weekend with six new times atop the program record board to finish third at the 2026 Centennial Conference women's swimming championship. The Bullets also hit eight NCAA B-Cut times, finishing with 626 points in the team standings.
THE LEADERS
•
Mia Morreale (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn) earned a pair of individual gold medals, including establishing a new program and championship record in the 200 backstroke, breaking the two-minute mark.
FOR THE FOES
• Swarthmore won its fifth straight title with 819 points, edging second-place Johns Hopkins in the Blue Jays' first championship by 15.5 points.
THURSDAY RECAP:

Lanie McKenzie (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington),
Maya Knoller (Bernardsville, N.J./Newark Academy),
Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) and
Valerie Lawton (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) combined to open the championship with a bronze medal in the 200 medley relay. The group posted an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:43.33, which ranks second in program history. McKenzie led off the relay with a time of 26.39 seconds for the program record in the 50 back.

Mia Morreale, Lawton, McKenzie and
Caitlyn Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.) added a second bronze medal on the night, placing third in the 800 free relay. The NCAA B-Cut time of 7:34.63 ranks second in program history, missing the record by 0.15 seconds.
Maggie Sedlak (Darien, Conn./Darien),
Ava Berry (Raleigh, N.C./Sanderson),
Grace Tyler (North Granby, Conn./Westminster School) and Hawkins combined for a time of 7:47.61 in the B Finals, placing 10th overall.
FRIDAY RECAP

Ava Berry and
Caitlyn Evans opened Friday night in the A-Final of the 500 free. Berry placed finished fourth overall with a time of 5:06.20 while Evans was sixth with a time of 5:08.69.
Paige McKim (Robesonia, Pa./The King's Academy) and
Maggie Sedlak were in the B-Finals. McKim was 12th (5:12.02) while Sedlak came home 15th (5:15.97).

Mia Morreale and
Lanie McKenzie nabbed two medals in the 200 IM, going 2-3. Morreale earned the silver, knocking 1.06 seconds off her morning time to break the program record with an NCAA B-Cut time of 2:03.47. McKenzie improved her prelims time by 1.52 seconds to earn the bronze with a time of 2:05.84.
Emma Anderson (Manhasset, N.Y./Manhasset) placed 12th overall with a time of 2:09.45 in the B-Finals.

Valerie Lawton made it back-to-back program records for the Bullets. She finished third in the 50 free to earn the bronze medal with a time of 23.54 seconds, knocking 0.21 seconds off her fifth-place qualifying time in the morning and 0.10 seconds off the program mark.
Delaney Reck (Pawcatuck, Conn./Stonington) finished eighth the A-Final with a time of 23.94 seconds.
Bramley Hawkins won the consolation final, placing ninth with a time of 23.89 seconds. That time ranks sixth in program history.

Maya Knoller, Hawkins and Morreale combined to earn the fourth medal of the night and second silver. The quartet posted a time of 3:52.92 in the 400 medley relay.
Kara Woods (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown Community),
Audrey Csokmay (Potomac, Md./Richard Montgomery),
Morgan Puckett (Healdsburg, Calif./Cardinal Newman) and Reck were 11th in the B-Finals with a time of 3:52.83, which ranks 10th in program history. Woods leadoff split of 58.71 seconds is ninth all-time in the 100 backstroke.
SATURDAY RECAP

Morgan Puckett opened the third night with a silver medal in the 200 free relay. The quartet posted an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:34.28 to post the No. 3 time in program history.
Bramley Hawkins,
Kate Miller,
Kara Woods and
Maya Knoller were 11th in the B relay with a time of 1:36.78.

Ava Berry finished fifth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:35.45 while
Emma Anderson placed seventh with a time of 4:37.57.
Caitlyn Evans finished 11th out of the B-Finals with a time of 4:37.78.
• Hawkins claimed the bronze medal in the 100 fly. After establishing a program record in the prelims with a time of 55.81 seconds, she missed that mark by a tenth of a second with a time of 55.91 in the finals. The morning time hit the NCAA B-Cut time for Hawkins. She also bettered her 50 fly record in that swim, splitting a 26.05 on the front end. Puckett won the consolation final with a time of 56.06 seconds, which ranks second in program history and has only been bettered by Hawkins' two swims at the championship.
Kristen Racicot and
Kara Woods also posted all-time top-10 marks in the B-Finals, placing 12th and 13th. Racicot's time of 57.60 ranks fifth while Woods' time of 57.74 is eighth.
• Morreale made it gold medals in back-to-back years for the Bullets in the 200 free, winning with an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:51.58 and improving her all-time No. 2 mark in program history. Lawton posted a time of 1:54.18 in the prelims to rank fourth in program history before placing eighth in the A-Finals (1:54.30).
Grace Tyler was 12th (1:56.44) while
Maggie Sedlak finished 16th (1:59.34) in the B-Finals.

Kait Hall and
Audrey Csokmay were the first two to the wall in the B-Finals, placing ninth (1:06.27) and 10th (1:06.79) overall. Hall's time ranks ninth in program history. Miller and Racicot placed 14th (1:07.59) and 15th (1:08.34), respectively.
• Reck rounded out the night with an eighth-place finish in the 100 back (58.01 seconds).
Lanie McKenzie finished 10th (58.10) while Woods was 12th (58.45). Woods' time ranks ninth in program history.
SUNDAY RECAP
• With impending weather, the decision was made to contest the final day as timed finals only instead of the normal preliminaries and finals.
Mia Morreale made the most of the single swim to become the first Gettysburg swimmer to break the two-minute mark in the 200 backstroke. She won gold for the second straight year with an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:59.63, shattering the 22-year-old championship record by 2.53 seconds in the process.
Kara Woods place sixth with a time of 2:06.15, which ranks sixth in program history.
Lanie McKenzie was 14th (2:09.62).

Valerie Lawton took bronze in the 100 free with a time of 51.48 seconds.
Delaney Reck added a sixth-place showing in the event, touching in a time of 52.14 seconds.
• The four Bullets in the 200 breaststroke all finished between 10th and 15th.
Kait Hall led the quartet in 10th place (2:27.10) while
Audrey Csokmay was 12th (2:27.82) and
Kate Miller touched 13th (2:27.90).
Emma Anderson placed 15th (2:29.54).

Kristen Racicot finished sixth in the 200 fly with a time of 2:09.09.
Bramley Hawkins and
Maggie Sedlak placed 10th (2:12.00) and 11th (2:12.67), respectively, while
Morgan Puckett finished 13th with a time of 2:16.24.

Paige McKim grabbed a pair of medals in the 1650 free. Berry took silver with a time of 17:26.97 while McKim claimed the bronze with a time of 17:43.88.
Caitlyn Evans placed seventh (18:03.01) and
Grace Tyler was 11th (18:25.75). McKim's time ranks eighth in program history.
• Morreale, Reck, Lawton and Puckett rounded out the weekend with one final bronze in the 400 free relay. The group turned in an NCAA B-Cut time of 3:27.32. Miller, Woods, Evans and
Maya Knoller were 11th in the B Relay (3:36.00).
