GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Four members of the Gettysburg women's swimming team were named to the Division III Academic All-District women's swimming team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) recently.
Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Apr. 28.
The following Bullets women's swimmers were honored as part of the program:
- Junior Audrey Csokmay (Potomac, Md./Richard Montgomery), a health sciences major
- Senior Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill), an environmental studies and health sciences major
- Junior Lanie McKenzie (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington), an economics major
- Junior Paige McKim (Robesonia, Pa./The King's Academy), a health sciences major
Hawkins earned her third straight honor while Csokmay and McKenzie earned their second straight nod.
To be nominated for the Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or significant reserve. Up to four eligible student-athletes per institution can be selected to the all-district team.
