SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently released its Scholar All-America Teams and Individual Scholar All-America teams presented by Fitter & Faster for the Spring 2026 semester and Gettysburg was among the Division III teams recognized.
The Bullets men were once again highly successful in the classroom, posting a collective team grade-point average of 3.47. The women were also recognized after a posting a collective GPA of 3.46.
For the women, Gettysburg was one of 158 programs in the country recognized for a team GPA of 3.0 or better. The Bullets earned the Scholar All-America honors for the 24th consecutive semester.
On the men's side, Gettysburg was one of 138 programs in the country recognized for having a team GPA of 3.0 or better. It was the 23rd time in the last 24 semesters that the men's team was recognized.
Additionally, three Bullet individuals were named to Scholar All-America Teams for the 2025-26 season.
For the women, rising senior
Lanie McKenzie (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington) and recent graduate
Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) were honored while the men were represented by rising junior
Connor Mangan (Pipersville, Pa./Central Bucks West). McKenzie and Mangan were first-team honorees while Hawkins earned second-team nods.
McKenzie competed individually in the 200 IM, 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke at the NCAA championship meet in addition to being part of four relays.
Mangan competed individually in the 200 backstroke at the NCAA championship.
Hawkins hit an NCAA B-Cut time in the 100 butterfly breaststroke at the Centennial Conference championship with a time of 55.81 seconds.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes earned a minimum GPA of 3.5 and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and achieved a "B" time standard for the national championship.
The CSCAA Scholar All-America team awards are given in recognition of teams that achieve a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2025 spring semester. In total, 418 institutions from NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA were named to the list.
In total, eight Centennial Conference women's teams and seven men's teams were recognized for their academics.
