GETTYSBURG, Pa. – John Francesconi (Syracuse, N.Y./Marcellus), a sophomore on the Gettysburg baseball team, has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week of the week of Feb. 17-23.

Francesconi, who was named Centennial Conference Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday, led the Bullets (3-0) in a doubleheader sweep of Penn College on Sunday. He threw four shutout innings in relief with five strikeouts and no walks to claim the game-two win.

Gettysburg returns to action in a doubleheader against Albright at Mt. St. Mary's on Saturday. The first game begins at 11:30 a.m.
