GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Two members of the Gettysburg men's basketball team were named to the Division III Academic All-District men's basketball team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) recently.

Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Apr. 15.

The following Bullets men's basketball players were honored as part of the program:

• Junior Aidan Mess (Brookeville, Md./Mt. St. Joseph), a computer science major.
• Senior Carl Schaller (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley), a business, organizations and management major

Schaller earned his third straight honor after also being selected in 2023 and 2024.

To be nominated for the Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or significant reserve. Up to four eligible student-athletes per institution can be selected to the all-district team.
