KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the recipients of the 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award and NABC Honors Court and Gettysburg was among those honored on Thursday.

The Bullets were one of nearly 400 programs to receive the NABC Team Academic Excellent Award, including five of the 10 Centennial Conference men's basketball teams. The honor recognizes those teams that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

Gettysburg also had six individual players among more than 2,400 men's basketball student-athletes across the nation named to the NABC Honors Court. The Honors Court includes juniors, seniors, and graduate students who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Recent graduates Carl Schaller (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley), a business, organizations and management major, Jake Bertolini-Felice (Cary, N.C./Trinity Academy of Raleigh), a political science major, Jordan Stafford (Galloway, N.J./St. Joseph Hammonton), a psychology major, and Sam Bisinella-Thompson (Melbourne, Australia/Overnewton Anglican Community College), a business, organizations and management major, along with rising seniors Aidan Mess (Brookeville, Md./Mt. St. Joseph), a computer science major, and Malachi Briscoe (California, Md./St. Mary's Ryken), business, organizations and management major, were the six Bullets players named to the Honors Court.
