GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Four members of the Gettysburg women's basketball team were named to the Division III Academic All-District women's basketball team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) recently.
Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Apr. 16.
The following Bullets women's basketball players were honored as part of the program:
- Junior Alayna Arnolie (Vienna, Va./James Madison), a psychology major
- Junior AB Holsinger (Charlottesville, Va./Langley), a psychology major
- Sophomore Jameson Mott (Evergreen, Colo./Evergreen), a strategic media management major
- Senior Emily Violante (Easton, Pa./Easton Area), a health sciences major
Violante earned her third straight honor after also being selected in 2023 and 2024.
To be nominated for the Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or significant reserve. Up to four eligible student-athletes per institution can be selected to the all-district team.
