THE SKINNY STORY
The Bullets collected game wins however Haverford ultimately took the match.
THE LEADERS
- Sarah Guistwite (Carlisle, Pa., Wilson Hill Academy) led the Bullets with three wins in each set but Rachael Fitzgerald ultimately took the 6-3, 6-3 win at first singles. Guistwite doubled with Emma Ward (Falls Church, Va., George Mason) at first doubles winning two games but dropped 6-2 to Fitzgerald and Mallika Reddy.
- Kate Alianiello (Fairfield, Conn., Fairfield Ludlowe) also had three in each set at No. 5 singles however Abhishree Menon solidified the win 6-3, 6-3.
FOR THE FOES
- Lucy King led the Fords without dropping a single game at second singles; she and Caroline Gay also won 6-0 at third double.
THE REST OF THE STORY
- Harper Wood (Omaha, Neb., Gretna) had five game wins in set one against Caroline Gay at No. 6 singles however Gay took the win 7-5, 6-0.
- Shoshi Dondes (Pikesville, Md., Beth Tfiloh) put up a fight with three game wins in set two at fourth singles however Erika Phanord took the win for the Fords.
- Dondes doubled with Eden Levkov (Summit, N.J., Summit) earning one win at second doubles but Menon and Phanord won 6-1.
