Gettysburg scored three goals in the first quarter and never looked back in a 7-0 win at Juniata.
THE LEADERS

Sydney Yaw (West Chester, Pa./West Chester Rustin) scored her first collegiate goal to lead the Bullets, finishing the day with two goals and an assist.

Allie McCaffrey (Green Village, N.J./Chatham) added five points of her own in the second half.

• Kara Stringfellow made 13 saves in goal for the Eagles.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Nearly six minutes into the game,
Sabrina Post (Poquoson, Va./Hampton Roads Academy) was waiting on the post and had a ball come to her that she was able to tap in for an early 1-0 lead. On a corner in the 13th minute,
Sydney Yaw redirected a
Cassie DeBlieck (Grafton, Mass./Grafton) hit in from the top of the circle up and into the cage for a 2-0 advantage.

Angie Flocco (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy) converted a penalty stroke with 18 seconds to play in the second quarter for a 3-0 halftime lead.
• Yaw tallied her second on a shot from the middle of the circle that found its way through the defense and to the backboard for a 4-0 lead just 3:42 into the second half.
Allie McCaffrey redirected a Yaw pass for her first collegiate point and 5-0 lead six minutes later. McCaffrey made it back-to-back tallies within a minute, stretching the advantage to 6-0.

Cianna Miranda (San Jose, Calif./Willow Glen) tapped home a McCaffrey centering pass for a 7-0 advantage.

Cianna Miranda all registered their first collegiate points for the Bullets with goals in the game.
• The seven goals were the most in a game by Gettysburg since a 7-0 win at McDaniel on Sept. 25, 2019.

Delaney Ellsworth (Cos Cob, Conn./Conn./Choate Rosemary Hall) and
Ava Spear (Branchburg, N.J./Somerville) combined for the shutout without the need to make a save.
• The Bullets finished the game with a 26-0 advantage in shots and 8-2 advantage in penalty corners.
