LANCASTER, Pa. – Ethan Composto (Westfield, N.J./Westfield), a junior on the Gettysburg wrestling team, has been named Centennial Conference (CC) Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 22-Jan. 4.

It is the first time this season that he has earned the honor.

Composto led the Bullets at the UAA Challenge with victories in both of his matches. Competing at 165 pounds, Composto opened the day with a second-period technical fall by a 20-3 margin against Chicago's Nick Cheshier. He then registered an 11-1 major decision over Case Western's Marty Landes to complete his 2-0 day.

Gettysburg returns to action at Johns Hopkins on Friday, Jan. 16. Match time is 7 p.m.
