LANCASTER, Pa. – Olivia Jones (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac), a freshman on the Gettysburg women's basketball team, has been named Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 26-Feb. 1.

It is the first time in her career she has earned the weekly honor.

Jones led the Bullets to a 65-60 come-from-behind win at McDaniel on Wednesday. She poured in all 18 of her points in the second half, including 15 in the final 14 minutes of the game when Gettysburg put together a 30-15 run to rally for the win. Jones also hit the game-sealing free throws with 4.9 seconds left to go with five rebounds and three 3-pointers.

For the season, she is third on the team in scoring at 8.1 points per game. She also leads the team with 32 steals and has 21 assists.

Gettysburg returns to action at home against No. 4 Johns Hopkins on Wednesday. Game time is 6 p.m.
