The Widdoes File: Will anchor Gettysburg’s linebacking corps as a three-year starter…An excellent leader. 

2008: The Bullets third-leading tackler, finishing with 71 hits…Had a season-high 12 stops against Hampden-Sydney…Also made 11 tackles and forced a fumble at Dickinson…Seven of his nine tackles at Juniata were solo stops. 

2007: Enjoyed a solid sophomore season for the Bullets, starting all 11 games at outside linebacker…Finished second on the team and 11th in the Centennial Conference with 85 tackles…Tied a career-high with 13 tackles at Franklin & Marshall…Was in on 11 stops against McDaniel and made 10 hits (eight solo) at Moravian. 

2006: Appeared in all 10 games, starting the last seven…Saw the most playing time of any freshman Bullet defensive player…Tied for fourth on the team with 62 tackles and ranked 13th in the conference with 6.2 tackles per game…Made a career-high 13 tackles (three solo, 10 assisted) against Ursinus. 

High School: Competed in football, baseball, and track & field at St. Mark’s H.S....Named first team all-conference as a fullback during his senior year, when he finished with 1,200 total yards...A two-year starter at fullback and linebacker...Named the football squad’s most valuable player and was a Blue-Gold All-Star as a senior...Also earned St. Mark’s Leadership Award for football. 

Personal: Born May 21, 1988...Son of Tim and Karen Widdoes...Father was a defensive end for West Chester from 1976-1980… A political science major.
