High School: A three-sport athlete at Hampton Bays H.S….Competed as a fullback and linebacker in football, wrestled at 182 pounds, and was a thrower on the track & field team…Competed for head coaches Mike Oestreicher (football), Ralph Lievano (wrestling), and Dave Goodman (track)….Named All-State in track with his runner-up finish in the discus at the New York State Division II Championships…Also named All-Federation with a fifth-place finish in the discus at the New York State Federation Championships…In football, earned all-county recognition and served as a team captain…Was also an all-country wrestler.
