The Helm File: A frontrunner to earn a starting job in the linebacking corps...Moved from tailback to linebacker in 2006.

2008: Played in all 10 games…Posted 12 tackles for the season…Made a career-high three tackles at Muhlenberg…Also returned three kickoffs for 58 yards, including a season-long 24-yarder at McDaniel.

2007: Played in all 11 games as a member of the special teams unit…Finished with eight tackles…Also returned four kickoffs, including a season-long 18-yarder against Dickinson.

2006: Appeared in nine games, mostly as a member of special teams…Tied for the team lead with 10 kick returns for 154 yards...Averaged 17.1 all-purpose yards per game…Totaled a career-high 58 yards on four returns at Dickinson…Returned his first collegiate kick at Rochester for a season-long 39 yards.

High School: An all-conference selection at Hammonton High School, where he also participated in track & field and golf…Named Courier Post Athlete of the Week.

Personal: Born Aug. 19, 1988...Son of Alex and Rosalie Helm...Cousin, George (Butchie) Hall, played football at Virginia Tech in the late 1960’s…An economics major.
