Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 34th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (9-3, 2-2 CC) and Swarthmore (7-5, 3-1 CC) in a series that dates back to 1989. The Bullets lead the all-time series 22-11 but the Garnet has won the last five meetings.

WHEN LAST WE MET: After a 1-all tie at the end of the first half, Swarthmore scored two goals in the third period to defeat Gettysburg 3-1 last season. Bella Bonazinga scored Gettysburg's lone goal of the game in the second quarter. Katherine Kohn had two of Swarthmore's three tallies. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

LAST TIME OUT: Gettysburg took a one-goal lead in the first half before Franklin & Marshall forced overtime in the final two minutes of regulation but the host Bullets found the game-winner in the second extra session for a 3-2 win on Wednesday. Sabrina Post found the backboard for the game-winning tally for the Bullets. Annie Malatesta scored the game-tying goal for the Diplomats. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

ROOKIE BIG TIME: Two of Gettysburg's three goals on Wednesday were scored by freshmen. Margaret-Ann Graves netted her first collegiate goal in the second quarter to give the Bullets a 2-1 lead over Franklin & Marshall. She was able to put back her own saved shot. Sabrina Post then netted the game winner early in the second overtime on Wednesday. It was her fifth goal of the season, which is tied for second on the team.

LAST TIME OUT: Emma Duffield netted the game-winning goal with 7:00 remaining in the fourth quarter to give Swarthmore a 2-1 victory over No. 17 Ursinus on Wednesday. The Garnet outshot the Bears 19-2 while also holding a 9-1 advantage in penalty corners. (Full Recap) (Box Score)

TO BE THE BEST, YOU BEAT THE BEST: Swarthmore has played seven teams that were ranked in the top 25 at the time in the 12 games. The Garnet recorded its third win in such games on Wednesday night. Outside of the first game of the season against then-No. 4 Salisbury, the last six matchups with nationally-ranked teams have all been decided by just one goal. Two of those games have gone to overtime and three have been 1-0 final scores. The Garnet's other five games against non-ranked teams have been decided by an average of 4.0 goals per game.
