FIRST PITCH: Today's Centennial Conference (CC) game marks the 225th all-time meeting between Gettysburg (13-18, 2-8 CC) and Dickinson (19-8, 7-3 CC) in a series that dates back to 1881. The Bullets lead the all-time series 136-86-2 but the Red Devils have won the last four.
LAST SEASON'S SERIES: In Carlisle on Tuesday, Gettysburg had nine hits but Dickinson held the Bullets off the board for a 7-0 win. Jack Pistner went 3-for-3 for Gettysburg. Austin Buzza threw 6 2/3 shutout innings with five K's and only one walk. In the return engagement three days later, Dickinson built a 13-1 lead en route to an 18-9 win for the season sweep. Liam Gregory tallied two singles in two plate appearances. He also had three RBIs and scored one run.
