Box Score

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Gettysburg outshot Goucher 17-7, but the Gophers scored in the 55th minute for the game's only goal and the Gophers edged the Bullets 1-0 in a non-conference men's soccer match Tuesday evening at Clark Field.

Parker Bay provided the offense for Goucher (7-7-3), one-timing a shot in front of the goal. Nate Margolis set up the play with a cross from the left.

The Bullets took four shots the rest of the way, but none were on goal.

Gettysburg (3-12-1) piled up a 12-5 shot advantage in the opening half, but that's when Gopher keeper Nicholas Stolarz made all five of his saves.

Senior Connor Darrell (Cream Ridge, N.J./Allentown) also stopped five shots for the Bullets.

Gettysburg held a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.

The Bullets close out the regular season on Saturday, when they host Ursinus College at 1 p.m. on Senior Day.
