THE SKINNY STORY
In a back-and-forth battle, McDaniel won four matches by major decision to capture a 21-20 win over Gettysburg.

THE LEADERS
Brendan Callahan (Woolrich Twp., N.J./Kingsway Regional) led the Bullets with his team's lone fall of the night, recording a pin in 1:34.
James Doliscar (Bayshore, N.Y./Northfield Mount Hermon) came out on top of the highlight match, using a couple of late takedowns for a 19-18 win and keep his team alive.

FOR THE FOES
• Thomas Monn, who is ranked ninth in Division III, nabbed the Green Terror's one pin of the night.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• A pair of takedowns in the final minute of the third period gave Romeo Tsai a 14-4 major decision to open the night at 125 and stake McDaniel to an early 4-0 lead. Brendan Callahan immediately responded with a pin midway through the first period at 133. Luke Kowalski (Derwood, Md./St. John's College) stretched the lead to 10-4 with a 12-1 win at 141.
• Thomas Monn, after choosing the down position to start the second period, immediately got a reversal and turned it into a pin at 149 to tie the match at 10-all. Xavier Howard put the Green Terror back in front with a takedown late in all three periods to key a 13-3 major decision win at 157.
Justin Richey (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley), after giving up a reversal with eight seconds left, earned a penalty point and riding time point to earn a 12-4 major decision and knot the match once again. Dalton Pearl, however, grabbed a major decision of his own at 174 with a 16-4 victory. James Doliscar had the final say in a back-and-forth match at 184, grabbing a takedown in the final five seconds for a 19-17 win. Jaedyn Harris responded with an 8-2 win at 197 to push the lead back to four entering the final bout.
Simon Taylor (Alexandria, Va./Woodbury Forest School) just missed a match-tying major to end the night, claiming a 10-3 win for the one-point final margin.
