THE LEADERS

Maddon McNicholas (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) led the Bullets with a 71st-place finish, turning in a season-best time of 26:17.4 on the 8,000-meter course.
FOR THE FOES
• Carnegie Mellon edged Johns Hopkins for the regional title, 39-40.
• The Blue Jays' Emmanuel Leblond won the individual crown with a time of 24:12.8. The Blue Jays and Tartans combined for eight of the top 11 finishers.

Josh Judson (Arvada, Colo./Faith Christian) crossed the line 98th with a time of 26:50.3.

Mick Lorenger (Alexandria, Va./Thomas Edison) was 123rd with a time of 27:20.
