Jackson Lane and
Jack Raba have joined the Gettysburg men's lacrosse staff as assistant coaches, announced by head coach
Peter Toner.
Raba joins the staff and will serve as the team's offensive coordinator. He comes from a strong coaching pedigree. His father John has served 30 years as the head coach at Wesleyan, posting a 333-143 record and won the 2018 national championship. He ranks fifth all-time in coaching wins in Division III.
Raba played collegiately for his father at Wesleyan, serving as a team captain during his senior season of 2025. He helped the Cardinals to the 2024 NESCAC championship and led the team in scoring each of the three seasons he played. Starting 51 games on attack, he registered 61 goals and 157 assists for 218 points in his career. He graduated as the program record holder in assists per game (3.08) and third all-time in points per game (4.27). His 3.50 assists per game in 2025 and 3.35 per game in 2024 led the NESCAC both seasons. He was also top three in points per game both seasons.
He was a three-time USILA All-American, including earning third team honors in 2024 and second-team accolades in 2025. He was also a first-team USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American in 2025 and participated in the USILA North/South Senior All-Star Game. He was also highly successful in the classroom, claiming USILA Scholar All-America honors twice.
While at Wesleyan, Raba also served as an assistant football coach at Yale. He served as a defensive quality control coach and assistant linebackers coach in 2024 after serving as director of football operations for the 2022 and 2023 Ivy League champion teams.
Lane graduated this past spring from Springfield College, where he was a three-time captain for the Pride. He was named 2025 NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Year and was a two-time honorable mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). As a senior, Lane picked up 51 ground balls and caused 14 turnovers. His career stretched six seasons, starting 64 of 70 games. He recorded 247 ground balls and caused 61 turnovers while adding 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points in his career.
Lane was also a USILA All-American in 2023 and added US Lacrosse Magazine All-America accolades in 2025. He also garnered first-team all-conference honors in 2022 and 2025 and was a second-team selection in 2024. He was a first-team IMLCA all-region selection in 2025 and USILA Scholar All-American in 2024. He also earned Springfield's Male Team Athlete Award in 2025.
He was a operations and equipment manager for the Carolina Chaos of the Premier Lacrosse League in 2025. He also served as an assistant coach for the Seven Hills Club Lacrosse team from 2022-25.
