THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked 22nd, won five events to post a 3-1 day at the season-opening Centennial Conference quad. No. 18 Johns Hopkins went 4-0 in its first action in the conference, defeating the Bullets, 150.5-105.5. The Bullets defeated Washington (212-42), Bryn Mawr (215-41) and McDaniel (215-40) easily to round out the day.
THE LEADERS
•
Valerie Lawton (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) led the Bullets with an individual win in the 50 free with a time of 24.47 seconds. She also was part of the 200 medley relay that opened the meet with a win and placed second in the 100 free (53.48).
FOR THE FOES
• Kennedy Lee was the only Blue Jay to win multiple individual events, touching first in the 100 back (57.15 seconds) and 200 back (2:03.30).
THE REST OF THE STORY

Lanie McKenzie (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington),
Maya Knoller (Bernardsville, N.J./Newark Academy) and
Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) joined
Valerie Lawton to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:45.92, which ranks seventh in program history.

Emily Brown (Madison, N.J./Madison) – in her first collegiate individual race – won the 1000 free with a time of 11:01.54, outdistancing the competition by 12.49 seconds.
• Hawkins added a victory in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.81 seconds. She also tied for third place in the 50 free (24.59).
• McKenzie rounded out four individual wins, touching first the 200 IM with a time of 2:10.29. She also added a third-place finish in the 100 back (58.96 seconds) and fifth-place showing in the 200 back (2:06.73).

Mia Morreale (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn) touched second in the 200 free with a time of 1:55.79. She was also right behind Lawton in the 50 free (24.57 seconds) and placed second in the 200 back (2:06.73).
• Knoller was second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:08.00 and sixth in the 100 free (54.48).

Kristen Racicot (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) posted a time of 2:11.54 to place second in the 200 butterfly.

Jolina Widders (Munster, Germany/Immanuel Kant Gymnasium) placed third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:29.94 while
Morgan Puckett (Healdsburg, Calif./Cardinal Newman) was third in the 100 butterfly (59.29 seconds).
• Morreale, Hawkins, Knoller and Lawton combined to finish second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:38.84.
