Gettysburg reset a pair of program records, finishing fourth at the 16th Annual Phoenix Classic hosted by Chicago over the weekend. The Bullets scored 1107.5 points.
THE LEADERS
•
Mia Morreale (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn) led the Bullets with a victory in the 200 backstroke, becoming the first Gettysburg swimmer to break 2:01 in the event.
•
Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) added a record-setting performance in the 100 butterfly.
FOR THE FOES
• NYU won the nine-team invitational with 2779.5 points, outdistancing Washington (Mo.) by 839 points.
FRIDAY'S RECAP
• The 200 free relay quartet of
Maya Knoller (Bernardsville, N.J./Newark Academy),
Bramley Hawkins,
Mia Morreale and
Valerie Lawton (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) opened Friday's night's session with a third-place finish in the 200 free relay, posting an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:34.49, which ranks fifth in program history.
Lanie McKenzie (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington),
Caitlyn Evans (Belford, N.J./Red Bank Catholic),
Kate Miller (Gaithersburg, Md./Good Counsel) and
Olivia Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.) combined lead the B Relay to a ninth-place showing with a time of 1:36.91.

Paige McKim (Robesonia, Pa./The King's Academy) qualified for the B-Finals of the 500 free, finishing 17th with a time of 5:13.34.
Maia Minakas (Hillsborough, N.J./Immaculata),
Grace Tyler (North Granby, Conn./Westminster School) and
Emily Brown (Madison, N.J./Madison) were in the C-Finals of the 500 free, placing 23rd (5:15.98), 28th (5:18.67) and 29th (5:20.35), respectively.

Lanie McKenzie was third in the 200 IM with a NCAA B-Cut time of 2:05.25, knocking nearly a second off her fifth-place prelim time, while Morreale finished sixth with a time of 2:06.18, which is third in program history.
Caitlyn Evans was in the B-Finals, placing 19th (2:09.60), while
Kait Hall (Parlin, N.J./Saint Thomas Aquinas) and
Emma Anderson (Manhasset, N.Y./Manhasset) finished 28th (2:12.00) and 30th (2:15.62) in the C-Finals.
• Lawton added a sixth-place showing in the 50 free with a time of 23.84 seconds. Knoller was in the B-Finals, placing 16th (23.87), and Hawkins was in the C-Finals, finishing 25th (24.37).
• McKenzie, Knoller, Hawkins and Lawton closed the session with a sixth-place finish in the 400 medley relay, registering a time of 3:50.77, which ranks fourth in program history. Morreale,
Kristen Racicot (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull),
Morgan Puckett (Healdsburg, Calif./Cardinal Newman) and
Caitlyn Evans swam on the B Relay, finishing 12th with a time of 3:55.55.
SATURDAY'S RECAP
•
Lanie McKenzie,
Maya Knoller,
Bramley Hawkins and
Valerie Lawton opened Saturday night with an NCAA B-Cut time in the 200 medley relay. The quartet finished fourth in the field with a time of 1:43.36, which was just 0.11 seconds off the program record.
•
Emma Anderson's time of 4:34.59 in the prelims of the 400 IM ranks sixth in program history. She finished 10th in the finals with a time of 4:39.29.
Caitlyn Evans was also in the A-Finals, placing eighth with a time of 4:33.06.
• Hawkins and
Morgan Puckett were sixth and 11th in the prelims of the 100 fly, posting times of 56.64 and 57.08 seconds, respectively. The two marks ranked first and second in program history. Hawkins bettered that program record with a seventh-place finish in the finals and time of 56.49 seconds.
Kristen Racicot and
Kara Woods made it into the C-Finals, placing 22nd (58.20) and 29th (59.38), respectively.

Mia Morreale qualified for the A-Finals of the 200 free, finishing ninth with a time of 1:52.94. Lawton was 15th out of the B-Finals with a time of 1:55.01 while
Maggie Sedlak (28th, 1:58.39) and
Grace Tyler (30th, 2:00.11) advanced to the C-Finals.
• Knoller added a ninth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.51. Racicot came back and finished 19th, posting a time of 1:08.11 in the B-Finals.
Kate Miller was right behind her in 20th with a time of 1:08.22 while
Kait Hall won the C-Finals with a time of 1:08.34.
• McKenzie was also ninth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.44 seconds. Woods was in the B-Finals, placing 17th with a time of 59.57 seconds while
Olivia Evans was 23rd in the C-Finals with a time of 1:02.00

Maia Minakas and
Paige McKim placed ninth in the 800 free relay with a time of 7:57.58.
SUNDAY'S RECAP
•
Emily Brown finished ninth in the 1650 free, registering a time of 17:49.61, which ranks eighth in program history.
Paige McKim was 16th with a time of 18:11.75.
•
Mia Morreale, who bettered her program record in the 200 back by more than a second in the prelims, took that time even lower in the finals. The senior posted an NCAA B-Cut time of 2:00.99 to win the event. The mark ranks third in Centennial Conference history.
Lanie McKenzie added an eighth-place finish with a time of 2:05.23.

Valerie Lawton placed eighth in the 100 free with the No. 2 time in program history, touching with a time of 51.57 seconds.
Bramley Hawkins was 20th (53.12) and
Maya Knoller placed 30th (53.90).

Emma Anderson led the way in the 200 breaststroke with a 14th-place finish and time of 2:25.94.
•
Kristen Racicot qualified for the A-Finals and finished 10th with a time of 2:11.35.
Maggie Sedlak was in the B-Finals, placing 13th with a time of 2:09.39. In the C-Finals,
Morgan Puckett turned in a time of 2:09.49, which ranks eighth in program history.
• Morreale, Hawkins, Knoller and Lawton combined as part of the 400 free relay, finishing ninth with a time of 3:31.19. The time is ninth in program history.
