Carnegie Mellon, ranked 12th, won nine of the 12 individual events to defeat No. 22 Gettysburg, 153-92.
THE LEADERS
•
Valerie Lawton (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) won two events to lead the Bullets, including touching first in the 100 free with a time of 53.65 seconds. She was also second in the 50 free (24.36).
•
Maya Knoller (Bernardsville, N.J./Newark Academy) also added a two-win day that included a first-place finish in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.96. She was also fourth in the 100 free (54.67).
FOR THE FOES
• Savannah Xu won three individual events to lead the Tartans. She touched first in the 100 back (55.92 seconds), 200 back (2:01.99) and 400 IM (4:31.78).
THE REST OF THE STORY

Maya Knoller and
Valerie Lawton teamed with
Lanie McKenzie (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington) and
Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) to open the day with a win in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:46.38.

Mia Morreale (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn) won the 200 free with a time of 1:55.39 to round out the individual wins for Gettysburg.
•
Emma Anderson (Manhasset, N.Y./Manhasset) finished second in the 1000 free with a time of 10:59.18.
•
Caitlyn Evans (Belford, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) was third in the 200 free with a time of 2:00.12. She was also second in the 400 IM (4:40.09).
•
Kristen Racicot (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) placed third in the 200 fly (2:12.02).
• Hawkins and Morreale tied for third in the 50 free with a time of 24.90 seconds. Morreale was also second in the 200 back (2:07.41). Hawkins was third in the 100 fly (58.90).
•
Maia Minakas (Hillsborough, N.J./Immaculata) placed third in the 500 free (5:24.59).
