THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg won 14 events, including all five relays, to win its own six-team Gettysburg Invitational with 1075 points.
THE LEADERS
•
Valerie Lawton (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) won a pair of individual events and was part of four of the five relay wins. The senior touched first in both the 200 and 100 freestyle.
•
Mia Morreale (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn) was also part of four relay wins and added individual wins in the 500 free and 100 backstroke in addition to a second-place finish in the 100 free.
FOR THE FOES
• Montclair State finished second in the field with 697 points.
FRIDAY'S RECAP
• The 200 free relay quartet of
Maya Knoller (Bernardsville, N.J./Newark Academy),
Lanie McKenzie (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington),
Mia Morreale and
Valerie Lawton opened Friday's session with a win in the 200 free relay, posting an NCAA B-Cut time of 1:34.63, which ranks sixth in program history.
Morgan Puckett (Healdsburg, Calif./Cardinal Newman),
Kate Miller (Gaithersburg, Md./Good Counsel),
Kara Woods (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown Community) and
Olivia Evans (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.) combined to finish second with a time of 1:36.94.
• Morreale posted the No. 6 time in program history to win the 500 free with a time of 5:04.40, leading the Bullets to six of the top nine slots.
Caitlyn Evans (Belford, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) was second with a time of 5:09.85.

Kristen Racicot (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) led the way in the 200 IM with a fourth-place finish, turning in a time of 2:12.93.
• Gettysburg had three of the top four and five of the top seven finishers in the 50 free. Knoller led the way, touching second in a time of 24.07 seconds. Puckett was third in a time of 24.26 while McKenzie placed fourth in a time of 24.33.
• The 400 medley relays went 1-2 to close out the night. McKenzie, Knoller, Hawkins and Morreale turned in the No. 7 time in program history (3:52.47) while Woods, Racicot, Puckett and
Caitlyn Evans were right behind them with a time of 3:58.48.
SATURDAY MORNING'S RECAP
• Gettysburg started Saturday morning with a 1-2 finish in the 200 medley relay. McKenzie, Knoller, Hawkins and Lawton finished first with a time of 1:44.57 while Woods, Miller, Racicot and Puckett were right behind their teammates in a time of 1:48.35.
• Hawkins won the 100 fly with a time of 58.03 seconds while Racicot was third in a time of 58.51.
• Lawton won the 200 free with a time of 1:55.22.
• Knoller won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.40, pacing a 1-2-3 Bullets finish. McKenzie was second (1:06.97) while Hall was third (1:09.15).
• Morreale won the 100 backstroke with a 56.56 seconds, which is second in program history.
• Morreale, Lawton,
Caitlyn Evans and McKenzie combined to win the 800 free relay with a time of 7:45.79, which ranks eighth in program history.
SATURDAY EVENING'S RECAP
•
Paige McKim (Robesonia, Pa./The King's Academy) won the 1650 free with the eighth-ranked time in program history, turning in a time of 17:44.53.
• Woods placed second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:07.81.
• Lawton and Morreale finished 1-2 in the 100 free, posting times of 51.30 and 51.65 seconds, respectively.
• McKenzie added a victory in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:25.15, which ranks seventh in program history.
Emma Anderson (Manhasset, N.Y./Manhasset) added a third-place finish with a time of 2:28.52.
• Gettysburg had four of the top five swimmers in the 200 butterfly. Racicot led the way, winning the event with a time of 2:07.80, which ranks third in program history. Sedlak was second with a time of 2:08.81.
• Morreale, Miller, Knoller and Lawton combined to win the 400 free relay with a time of 3:31.65 and finish off the weekend.
