Gettysburg wraps up dual meets with win at Ursinus

THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg, ranked 19th, won eight of the 11 events and finished second in seven events to wrap up the dual meet season with a 136-66 win at Ursinus.

THE LEADERS
Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) led the Bullets with two wins that included an individual victory in the 100 butterfly. She was also part of the 200 medley relay win.

FOR THE FOES
• Katie Barlow led the Bears with a pair of victories, winning the 200 IM with a time of 2:13.04 and 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.82.
• Sara Bozzomo added a win in the 200 free, edging out a 0.2-second win with a time of 2:00.71.

THE REST OF THE STORY
Audrey Csokmay (Potomac, Md./Richard Montgomery), Maya Knoller (Bernardsville, N.J./Newark Academy), Bramley Hawkins (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) and Valerie Lawton (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) combined to open the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay, posting a time of 1:51.06.
Ava Berry (Raleigh, N.C./Sanderson) touched first in the 1000 free with a time of 11:08.80.
Delaney Reck (Pawcatuck, Conn./Stonington) added a win in the 40 free with a time of 25.25 seconds.
• Hawkins added her individual win in the 100 fly with a time of 59.04 seconds while Kristen Racicot (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) placed second (59.37).
Mia Yancey (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) wont he 100 free by more than a second with a time of 54.04 seconds.
Paige McKim (Robesonia, Pa./The King's Academy) won the 500 free with a time of 5:27.97.
Olivia Pyott (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Twp.) and Knoller went 1-2 in the 100 breaststroke. Pyott posted a time of 1:07.29 while Knoller touched in a time of 1:09.58.
• Lawton, Yancey, Ava Collin (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) and Knoller wrapped up the day with a win in the 200 free relay (1:40.31).
• Lawton added a second-place finish in the 200 free with a time of 2:00.91 while Lanie McKenzie (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington) was second in the 200 IM (2:13.27). In both events, Gettysburg finished 2-3-4.
Mia Morreale (Short Hills, N.J./Millburn) was second in the 100 back (1:01.14).

Gettysburg takes part in the Franklin & Marshall Spring Invitational on Saturday before the Centennial Conference championship at Franklin & Marshall on Feb. 20-23.
