McDaniel won four of the first five bouts, opening up a 15-4 lead en route to a 24-15 victory over Gettysburg.

Carson Pascoe (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) led the Bullets with an 18-1 technical fall at 184.
FOR THE FOES
• Avery Cummings paced the Green Terror, recording a second-period fall at 174.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Alex DuFour and Romeo Tsai each recorded major decision to stake McDaniel to an early 8-0 lead. DuFour won 17-3 at 125 before Tsai took a 10-0 win at 133.

Brendan Callahan (Woolrich Twp., N.J./Kingsway Regional) cut the deficit in half with a 13-5 major decision win at 141. Thomas Monn, however, pushed the lead back to eight with an 11-1 win at 149 and Xavier Howard got a takedown late in the first sudden victory period to win 6-3 at 157.

Justin Richey (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) cut the margin to 15-7 with a 10-3 decision at 165. Avery Cummings, responded however with the only pin of the night to take the 174 match in 4:46.
Carson Pascoe answered with his technical fall midway through the second period and keep Gettysburg within striking distance with two bouts remaining.
• Val Pryor secured the Green Terror win with an 11-6 win at 197 before
Simon Taylor (Alexandria, Va./Woodbury Forest School) got a third-period takedown for a 4-1 win at heavyweight.
