LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Gettysburg volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT for the 2024-25 season.

The Bullets earned the honor for the 11th straight year, joining all 11 programs in the Centennial Conference to have the distinction. Nationally, a record-setting 1,450 teams were honored by the AVCA.

Gettysburg was also one of 51 Division III teams to earn the additional distinction of Team Academic Honor Roll, which celebrates the top 20 percent of GPAs within the division.

To qualify for the AVCA Team Academic Award, a team must have maintained at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average.
