LANCASTER, Pa. – Ava Berry (Raleigh, N.C./Sanderson), a junior on the Gettysburg women's swim team, has been named Centennial Conference (CC) Women's Swimmer of the Week, for the week of Jan. 19-26.

It is the first time this season and second time in her career she has earned the honor.

Berry led the Bullets in a 178-84 win over Rowan on Saturday. She won both distance races, including setting a program record in the 1000 free with the fastest time in the conference this season at 10:21.33. That 1000 time ranks fifth all-time in conference history and 10th in Division III this season. She also won the 500 free with a time of 5:14.99.

Gettysburg returns to action at Dickinson on Friday. Meet time is 5 p.m.
