LANCASTER, Pa. – Renee Laczkowski (Erie, Colo./Erie), a sophomore on the Gettysburg softball team, has been named Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week for the week of Apr. 20-26.

It is the first time this season she has earned the weekly honor and second time in her career.

Laczkowski led the Bullets to a 4-1 week, hitting .647 on the week. She went 11-for-17 at the plate with three doubles and a home run for a 1.000 slugging percentage. She had four multiple-hit games on the week, including four hits in the nightcap against Muhlenberg to reach 100 hits for her career. She also scored eight runs while adding six RBIs and three walks to finish the week with a .667 on-base percentage and 1.667 OPS.

For the season, she leads the team with 57 hits and a .452 batting average. She also has team highs with 12 doubles and four home runs for a .675 slugging percentage. She has driven in 42 runs and scored 32.

Gettysburg returns to action at Muhlenberg in the Centennial Conference tournament on Thursday. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
