One of the first offensive superstars in Gettysburg women's lacrosse history and the program's first All-American, Corroon graduated as the Bullets' all-time leader in goals (144), assists (41) and points (185), despite losing nearly an entire year to injury.

After scoring 17 goals and adding six assists as a freshman in 1983, she almost matched that production in the first three games of the 1984 campaign, netting 13 goals and six assists before a knee injury ended her sophomore season.

She bounced back in a big way the following year, tallying 48 goals and chipping in with nine assists as the Bullets went 9-3 and reached the Middle Atlantic Conference championship game. For her efforts, she was named to the All-MAC and All-America first teams, the first Bullet to earn national recognition. As a senior captain in 1986, she exploded for a program-record 66 goals and 20 assists, repeated as a first-team All-American and led Gettysburg to a top-ten national ranking. She capped the year by becoming the first Bullet to play in the North/South Senior All-Star Game.

In addition to lacrosse, she was also a three-time letterwinner and two-time All-MAC selection with the field hockey program.

A native of Greenville, Del., she graduated from Gettysburg in 1986 with a degree in health and physical education.
