Hall of Athletic Honor
She was one of Gettysburg's last three-sport athletes, male or female. She was a starter and letter winner for four years in volleyball and was an all-conference first team selection her last two years. She started and lettered four years in basketball. She was named to the all-conference first team her junior and senior years and was named the conference's MVP in 1986, not to mention her All-American recognition two years running and her many All-East and All-Tournament selections her last two years. As a lacrosse player, she played three years and lettered as a sophomore and junior.
A strong inside player in basketball, she scored most of her points as a result of her rebounding. An excellent shooter, she set a College record by landing 12 straight foul shots in an MAC playoff game. She had a career scoring average of 14 points per game and 9.9 rebounds for each of the 84 games in which she played. She is the number two all-time rebounder with 832 and is one of four players to score 1,000 career points (1,185). In 1986, she emerged as the nation's seventh best field goal shooter.
Volleyball statistics were not kept as extensively in the early 80's. However, she would have been a national leader in kills and blocks. In just one year she had a 91 kill percent and a 64 block percent.
She played defensive wing and point in lacrosse. In her three years on the team, Gettysburg never had a losing season.
