Hall of Athletic Honor
He capped four years of varsity football with an outstanding senior year. As a guard, he was part of a stone wall which allowed only 22 points to be scored upon them. That was a record which was to last for 60 years. The 1925 football team won six games, tied Lehigh and Roanoke and lost only to the University of Pittsburgh.
Besides being a top football lineman, he captained the baseball team and was one of the top collegiate outfielders of the day.
