During the fall, Reinman helped Gettysburg achieve unprecedented heights in cross country. She won her collegiate debut against Juniata and captured all-region accolades with a sixth-place finish at regionals as a sophomore. After gaining all-region status and helping the team to a runner-up performance at the regional meet in 1987, Reinman and the Bullets headed off to the NCAA Division III Championship for the first time as a program.
Â
As a senior on the cross country team, Reinman led the team in a dozen races and placed fourth at the Mid-East Regional, marking the best finish ever by a Bullet. She went on to compete at the national championship where she finished 91st overall.
Â
Reinman was a two-year team captain with the track team. She established a program record in the 1500 as a sophomore and broke it as a senior with a third-place finish at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship in her final collegiate race. She won a dozen individual races during her track career.
Â
Reinman spent two seasons on the swim team. She posted the team’s second-best time in the 200-yard individual medley as a sophomore and helped the Bullets claim a pair of conference championships in 1987 and 1988.
