Hall of Athletic Honor
One of Gettysburg's most explosive field hockey players, she was a left inner (forward). She was selected to the All -Susquehanna and Mid-East first teams all four college playing years. In 1968, she was named to the National Tournament second team.
She was elected co-captain in her Junior and Senior years because of her leadership, spark and initiative. In 1967, she helped develop a sleeper play which worked. Not only did Gettysburg produce a winning record that year, but she contributed by scoring two goals in a 5-0 win over Temple. A year later, she scored a goal which tied highly respected East Stroudsburg.
Her tennis consisted of one season. It just happened to be the undefeated 1965 campaign.
