Hall of Athletic Honor
A native of Collegeville, Pa., she played left inner and was captain of the field hockey team. She became one of the first Gettysburg women to enter national competition, playing in two national tournaments. She received Mid-East honors in 1950 and 1951. She was a forward on the basketball team for four years, serving as captain and was a leading scorer her senior year.
She was president of the Women's Athletic Association and was a member of Who's Who in Colleges and Universities.
