Gettysburg College Athletics

The Chicora, Pa., native had tremendous stamina as the left guard on the football team. He toiled four years on the varsity football team, fighting with bulldog tenacity which made him a much feared opponent and an inspiring leader.

He was also a leading hitter and first baseman on the baseball team.
