Hall of Athletic Honor
One of the finest things that could be said about an individual was quoted in the College yearbook of 1909. "Captain Snyder is the strongest man, physically, intellectually and morally, in this institution."
He came from Chapman's Run, Pa., and played left tackle and captained the football team of 1908. He played a key role in the team's 6-2 record, the only two losses to Penn and Pitt. He was a center on the basketball team and even played some tennis.
