Hall of Athletic Honor
A native of Drexel Hill, Pa., she served as co-captain of the field hockey team for two years and was co-captain of the lacrosse team for three years. As a sophomore, she led the field hockey team to a 3-3-2 record as an attack. Her career exploded her junior and senior years. As a junior, she was named to the Central Penn team and represented Gettysburg in the Mid-East Tournament. As a senior, she led the team to a 5-2-1 year and went on to be named to the first team Central Penn, third team Mid-East and played in the national tournament.
She played some basketball, but her first love turned to lacrosse which was still a new sport on campus. She was part of a defense which played an important part in Gettysburg's 2-2 record in 1973, 6-2 record in 1974, and the team's first undefeated season in 1975. She was named to the Central Penn team, the all-regional South team and eventually became an All-America. She played on the United States Lacrosse team which became the first to tour Great Britain and was undefeated.
