Hall of Athletic Honor
Another outstanding example of a 60-minute football player, he was known for his defensive talents - in particular his bone-crushing tackles. He was a player who could be counted upon to come through in the clutch. Three consecutive touchdowns as a junior, gave Gettysburg wins over Lehigh, Dickinson and Ursinus. As a forward on the basketball team, it was his outside shooting and exceptional accuracy from the foul line which accounted for many a one and two point victory.
He was a first baseman on the baseball team and played a major role in Gettysburg sharing the Eastern Pennsylvania Intercollegiate conference championship his senior year.
