Hall of Athletic Honor
He was an outstanding sprinter on the track team. He established the school's first 100-yard dash record with a time of 10 seconds flat, against Juniata in 1909. He was timed at that speed twice during the season. He not only did well as an athlete, but was instrumental, along with Clarence Raby, in constructing the school's first track.
Zinn returned to his Alma Mater and served with distinction for 35 years as the head of its Chemistry Department.
