As the women’s soccer program’s first All-American, Tracy Blasius helped establish Gettysburg as a conference and national power.

Blasius led the Bullets to unprecedented territory during her tenure. She spent the early part of her career plying her trade as a defender, leading the Bullets to a pair of ECAC Tournament appearances.

During her junior year, Blasius stepped up to the midfield and helped Gettysburg procure its first Centennial Conference title. She set a school record by scoring 15 goals and 40 points. She was named the CC Player of the Year and became the program’s first All-American, earning third-team recognition. Gettysburg won a school-record 16 matches and competed in the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time.

Blasius finished off her outstanding career by helping the Bullets claim another conference title and appear in the national tournament once again. She tallied 12 goals and 11 assists on the year and was named All-America Second Team in addition to all-region and all-conference first team. Blasius finished her career at Gettysburg ranked second in goals, assists, and points.

A native of Wyckoff, N.J., Blasius graduated from Gettysburg with a degree in sociology.
