Hall of Athletic Honor
During her four seasons of field hockey, she scored 23 goals, one of the highest totals in school history through the time of her induction. She led the team in scoring as a junior with eight goals. After all four seasons she was named to the All-Susquahanna I team and was awarded honorable mention recognition. Also n 1965 she was selected to play in a national all-star tournament in St. Louis with two other Gettysburg players.
She also played basketball at Gettysburg, and helped form a women's lacrosse club which developed into a highly successful intercollegiate program.
Her talents, however, were not confined to the athletic fields. As a psychology major, she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
