Dominant on the track from the moment he arrived at Gettysburg, Husain sealed his place in Bullets track and field history by becoming the program's first national champion. Along the way, he won nearly 100 races, captured numerous Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) gold medals and earned All-America honors eight times.

At his first MAC outdoor championship meet in 1990, he claimed the conference crown in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes and was named the MAC Most Outstanding Athlete. He then finished seventh in the 100 and sixth in the 200 at the 1991 NCAA Division III outdoor championships to earn his first two All-America accolades.

He added All-America honors in the 55-meter dash at the 1992 NCAA indoor championships and was again an outdoor All-American in the 100 and 200 during his junior season. After competing for Pakistan at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, he returned to capture indoor All-America honors in the 55, help the Bullets finish second at the 1993 MAC outdoor meet and earn Most Outstanding Athlete honors once again.

He capped his collegiate career by winning the 200 at the 1993 NCAA outdoor championships and earning the Charles Beachem Award as the College's outstanding senior male athlete.

A native of Pakistan who relocated to Pipersville, Pa., in 1989, he graduated from Gettysburg in 1993 with a degree in economics.
