Hall of Athletic Honor
He was heralded as the greatest Gettysburg athlete of the decade. From his opening collegiate touchdown against Penn State to the four TDs of his final game against Dickinson, he turned heads with his dazzling halfback play. He led Gettysburg to two Eastern Pennsylvania Conference titles, was named All-State twice, received two honorable mention All-America awards and was recipient of the Maxwell Club Award.
A leading scorer as a guard in basketball, he led Gettysburg to two conference titles. As a second baseman and outfielder, his big bat beat many opponents.
He was named to Who's Who, was president of the Student Council and graduated with department honors.
