Hall of Athletic Honor
Each decade seemed to produce its outstanding all-around athlete and Frank is among the top male athletes of the 50's.
As a fullback in football, he was given honorable mention on the Williamson All-America team; honorable mention Little All-America; Maxwell Club Award recipient; Associated Press All-State two years in a row; and All-East junior and senior years.
The Hershey, Pa. product was a guard in basketball and was a leading scorer his sophomore and senior years when the club was dominated by "big" men. He won many baseball games with his big bat, playing second base and centerfield. He signed a professional contract with the Philadelphia Phillies upon graduation.
