Hall of Athletic Honor
The only undefeated wrestler on his freshman team, Scott went on to become one of Gettysburg's outstanding grapplers. As a sophomore, he took on and beat some of the East's best, completing the regular season with an 11-1 record at 145-pounds. He placed fourth in the conference championships.
A star-studded junior year took him to the top of the country. He was the NCAA college division's runner-up at 145 and named an All-America. As a result of the finish, he was permitted to compete in the NCAA university division tournament in Iowa where he split two matches.
His collegiate career came to an abrupt end in the 10th match of the year. He suffered a severe shoulder injury which ended his career. As an intercollegiate wrestler, he posted 55 wins and eight losses. Seven of his wins were by falls.
A native of Long Island, he graduated with a degree in History.
