Hall of Athletic Honor
A four year starter in basketball and softball, she was an all-conference selection in both sports as a junior and senior, and she was a third team All-American in basketball. She captained both teams and guided the basketball team to two NCAA Division III tournaments - the first time Gettysburg had ever been selected for NCAA play. She graduated cum laude with departmental honors in health and physical education and was the recipient of the coveted Claire B. Knorr Award.
Following Gettysburg's upset win over Millikin in the NCAA playoffs in Decator, IL, she was named to the all-tourney team for her excellent ball handling. She currently holds the College record for assists in a game (16), season (24) and career (513). She had no peer in the assists department around the league. She particularly enjoyed the high lobs to teammate Barb Taylor '86. Her control of a game's tempo was beyond comparison. She was the extra coach on the floor as well as on the playing field.
As an outfielder and second baseman on the softball team, she led the team in stolen bases with a career high of 24 out of 26 attempts. She never batted less than .340, with a season high of .380 as a freshman.
