Hall of Athletic Honor
Coming out of Baltimore, Md., with a sound background in lacrosse, Ann had little trouble making the Bullet varsity lacrosse team. She never played on a losing team and by her senior year, Gettysburg posted a 7-1 record. Besides serving as a co-captain for three years, she contributed heavily to the team scoring. She helped guide Gettysburg to the Pen-Mar Conference title in 1974 and in 1975 was nominated to participate in the regional eliminations toward All-America selection.
She played right inner in field hockey and was co-captain her junior and senior years. She was the team's leading scorer in both her sophomore and senior years and helped guide the team to an undefeated season her junior year. She was named first team, Central Penn, Third team, Midd-East and took part in the national tournament in DeKalb, Ill.
She was named to Who's Who in College Athletics, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude.
