In her debut season, she wrapped up individual titles in the 200 back and the 200 IM, while helping the Bullets capture the conference title.

The 2000-01 swimming campaign saw Janelle rise to the top of the Centennial Conference in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 fly. She went on to claim her first national award with a 10th-place effort in the 400 IM at the NCAA Division III Championship.

Janelle was named the CC Most Outstanding Performer for the second time in 2001-02 with record-setting victories in both IM events and a win in the 200-yard breaststroke. At the national meet, she claimed three All-America certificates, including a first-team honor in the 200 breaststroke following an eighth-place finish.

She wrapped up her career with conference titles in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke as a senior, giving her a total of 14 CC individual and relay championships in eight different events. Gettysburg claimed another team championship in 2003. Janelle finished her tenure holding a total of six program records.

A native of Newington, Conn., Janelle graduated from Gettysburg with degrees in economics and management.
