Hall of Athletic Honor
She arrived on the Gettysburg campus in August 1948 as an ambitious 26-year old. Thirty-eight years later she received retirement accolades from the same institution.
She was instrumental in expanding the women's athletic program from the two sports of field hockey and basketball to nine varsity sports. The outstanding win-loss record she achieved as a coach does not begin to paint the whole picture of this Brooklyn, N.Y., native. She has been recognized the world over for her coaching talents and served as a participant at the Olympic Academy in Olympic.
